Firstly, congratulations to our 2011 Ho-Down winner “Party Trained”, our B division winner “Rebus”, and our Slo-Down winner “Stimulus Package”.

Secondly… Thanks… you know an event runs full circle when you have all the volunteers saying how much they enjoyed being around all you guys/gals this past weekend… I appreciate you all making the volunteers feel comfortable and welcome! Most of the people helping out this weekend are the closest people in my life, and they are grinning from ear to ear telling stories about the culture, costumes, competition, and connection they felt to the ulti community this past weekend!

What a party! I had a blast, met many great people, and learned much about our game.

I would like to shout out to the board members who stepped up to assist in every way they could. I would like to shout out to the many volunteers. I would like to shout out to the captains for their patience, cooperation, and understanding in a few situations, and all the players for their spirit and passion for the game. GAP, CRU, Bands, many others... you rock! All those who travelled into Calgary for the tournament, I appreciate it :)

Thanks for the opportunity & I’m already, like I’m sure many are, looking forward to 2012; whether it’s on the front line, back line, or somewhere in between. See you on the pitch!

...I’m also a feedback freak... pass along any suggestions and/or criticism about the tournament in general, things you’d like to see next year that you’ve seen in the past, saw this year, or would like to see going forward is greatly appreciated. There may be a short survey coming in a week or so as well… if you have a few minutes, you know the drill.

One last thing... there were obviously individuals who misplaced some things this past weekend at one point or another. If someone on your team found something unexpectedly and realizes that it wasn’t something that they came to the tournament with, let me know and I’ll try to find its rightful owner. In particular, a tent was mistakenly placed inside another tent, and the rightful owner of the tent was hoping to one day see it again!
